D5 Vario broken - help

ok i got my d5 vario through the door last week

i went to change the setting but the little red variator thing snapped from the inside, therefor voiding the warranty due to my negligence.

guys what can i do, is there any way i can repair this?

any help would seriously appreciated

u sure the warentee is voided if it snapped? im sure they still rma it.

the only problem is i changed from the stock top to the ek top and can not find the stock top anywhere. do you thing this will be a problem when i ask them to rma the pump?

i dont think it is a problem as the broken part is the pot and not the top. you can always ask and see if they will change it no harm in that.

got that sorted guys made a custom job to fix. thanks for all your help.

got another problem though lol.

finished my cooling system and it seems to work but there is very little pressure. i can feel the water pressure in the tube going from the pump to the radiator but after it comes out the radiator all the pipes feel still and i can not feel much motion or none at all. also the water in the resvoir is still and not moving at all.

what could be the problem.

my setup is:

resevoir>pump>radiator>cpu>north bridge>resevoir.

I dont know much about WCing. But think about it logically. Moving from 1 point in the loop to another.

If it was me I would disconnect the pump to the rad and see if water comes out. Obviously not with components installed. To see if the pump is putting out a sensible amount of water.

If it is, is the rad blocked etc.

Thinking as I go along. What are your temps? If they are high then there is a problem. If they are low/ok then I wouldnt worrty.

I HAD THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM!

F***in Couldnt believe it. i now feel that £70 for that was a rip!

Aniwai i just got a small possi screwdriver and stuck it inside to turn it up a notch
