D5 Max components?

Hi all.

Was wondering how many components I could add to a loop with a single D5 pump remaining powerful enough. I have EK CPU and GPU blocks, 1 EK 360 rad and 2 EK 420 rads.

Will the D5 be ok on it's own for these?

I have a ek D5 combo pump/res on my system running ek cpu block / 2 poseidon 1080ti /360 pe / 280 ce and a 120 xe rad all works fine pump set at about 50 percent speed . but i don't think my poseidon's have much resistance through the blocks ,

I'm running my system with 2 x GTX 1070 (no CPU block), 1 x 240x30mm and 1 x 420x30mm radiators, all at the lowest speed setting on the D5. And my temperatures on the GPU's are still excellent (37C and 40C)

The almighty D5 cannot be brought down by even the most complex of loops. :D I've had a crazy loop full of tons of rads, dual GPUs, 90 degree fittings, and even 2 pairs of quick disconnects, and a single D5 vario at full blast was still pushing 1.4LPM.

Colleague of mine has 3 titans, 2x 480 rads, cpu block, plethora of fittings and more running on a single D5 at around 40% pwm.

I have similar running off one MCP35x pump, and have done for the past year. These two pumps have great head pressure, so I don't really see a problem. Only issue is redundancy should it eventually give in to the ghost.

You could use this as a guide i guess. Taken from Martinslabs when the site was up and running.

Pressure Drop figures for components
Radiators: 0.25 PSI each (the size of the radiator has no real effect)
CPU Block: 0.9 PSI
GPU block: 0.9 PSI
Fittings: Negligible (An extreme setup with 10+ 90 deg fittings might add 0.5 PSI in total)
Tubing: 0.5 PSI per 10 feet for 3/8" ID, negligible for 1/2" ID.
Reservoir: Negligible

Pump pressure at 1GPM

MCP35X Stock: 6.52 PSI
MCP355 + Top: 6.14 PSI
MCP655 + Top: 4.95 PSI >>> I think this is the D5
