have pc housed in lubic case (small cube)which now has to be covered. what is the best way to cut alu sheets? have got a dremel which has the attachment for straight cuts in plasterboard etc. was going to use this with carbide bit. is this the easiest way to do it?

I use the thin cutting discs and take my time. Then I use the de-burring attachment to smooth it off. Seems to work :)

Pics are needed too I think :)

was hoping to use it like a router, with a guide, to get a nice sharp line.. pics of lubic case?

i've used a angle grinder mounted in a bench a few times. Cuts thought most things. Although aluminium is very easy to cut so it might not need such drastic measures, a jigsaw would do it too as long as your practiced at it.

thks all.took images of case. help required- best way to display them, do i upload them overclock server?

cheers.yep its lubics.paid around £20.bargain.bit fiddly to use at first.bottom will be uv blue perspex-,top and sides alu. top section m-board tray.easy to get at.bottom drives ,psu and w-pumps. the cube design to make it easy for working on-just turn around or upside down.

finally got done base sides top, just rear and front to do.awaiting aluminium and more blowhole trim - really like the blowhole trim - gives it a a more clean look and no naughty sharp edges

nice mate, consider making a project thread about this :)

and use upload.overclock3d.net for your pictures if you can, the link is on the black bar at the top (upload files)

How did I miss THIS thread? Excellent job.

Im sure many would love to see how you do what you do:cool:
