CustomPC No12 FX55SD

7th still not bad with a A64 FX - Think its the highest score by a country mile for that set-up?

Did not mean to open the old CPC can of worms though - good thread and most informative.

I'm pretty certain that if you buy the professional version of the video encoding it allows you to run an encoding farm, so you can hook up serveral computers to do the encoding. Although I dont know if you can use that feature for the benchmark even if you have the professional version.

I`ve heard that the benchmark wont run using a farm...but DAMN I`d love a farm of dual-core 4400+ rigs *drools slightly*

@Mav... you have the fastest single core/proc rig on the CPC leaderboard....which aint a shabby achievement :) Theres a No.1 title for ya!

Just picked up the latest issue of CPC.... all of a sudden PC specs seem to have shot up! Everything they tested whupped my rigs score in the CPC benchmarks and are at roughly the same level as Mavs rig. Dual-core seems to be ripping up, as I knew it would, but hell...they`re EVERYWHERE!

I wasnt bothered about about NF4 until today...NCQ and SATAII seem to help A LOT in the benchmarks and offer much better disk performance in general..

*shocked*

New Benchmark suite...a new league table to conquer!

The mag with the benchmark disk is out on the 25th...apparently they`re tough benchmarks and apparently the new league chart will sort out all the old problems. :) Anyone else interested in conquering a new league table?

Never bothered with the first one but so long as it's not biased against us single core/cpu junkies I'll give this one a go.

Looks like its still leaning towards dual-core/proc, but maybe the leaderboard will be split :) Time will tell......
