CSS shading problem any ideas?

I have not changed settings for CSS at all, but now when i play i get this.

All other games play fine so i presume it must be something to do with the settings, but changing them has made no difference.

Any ideas?

have you changed the drivers or anything recently? I had texture corruption problems with certain ATI drivers they also were forcing on specular lighting (r_specular).

That looks like your running in 16bit mode, remove your config files and make sure you have nothing in your launch commands.

Not changed nothing

Last config used was caseys, and it was all ok till a few weeks ago.

I think when the time comes it might be a complete new install of my whole system tbh, it may be about due.

What happens if you move your configs out of the cfg directory and startup cs:s you could see if it's the config or not then.

giving that a try now. Did not change nothing however,

I noticed the association of the file types abd I cannot revert them to notepad, it wont let me.

Could it be the fact that they are linking to outlook?

Sorted, for some reason whenever i was launching CSS it must have defaulted to 16 bit as Phunky said. switched to 32 bit ran the game same thing

deleted and reinstalled the config file, ran the game hey presto it worked so i presume that the cfg file must have corrupted some how ( i hope) as all other games were running fine.
