Crysis 2 will be in 3D

When I first bought CRYSIS three years ago I had a 3.2GHz AMD 6400 cpu and 9600 gpu and you can imagine the disappointment I had not more than 20 fps immediately I knew I had to spend loads of cash to get this game running at its full glory but till this day I still can’t get that to happen & I know a lot of you guys hate CRYSIS for this reason well it seems that Crytek are at it again and they have announced that the new Crysis 2 game will be in 3D so if you’ve got a 360 or PS3 you will need to buy a new 3D TV and if you’ve got a PC then you will need Nvidia’s 3D vision kit and a 3D monitor and off course if you don’t have the dough you can play it in 2D but once the game comes out and those reviews start hitting the web you will find out how jaw dropping the 3D experience is then once again you will be tempted to let go of your precious money honey, to be honest I really don’t know why CRYTEK have a tendency to empty our wallets but I’m willing to take a bet that CRYSIS 2 will be a main benchmark on every gaming & overclock website next MARCH, yes that's when the game is coming out so start saving you money guys because there is no way out this time.

I'm a fan of Crysis, really enjoyed the first two. I hope they spend a little more time in optimizing their engine though. There is no reason for some of the performance issues in the game, particularly the final boss fight.

As for 3D, meh. Not buying a 120Hz monitor nor am I wearing stupid glasses. 3D for me won't be worthwhile until the glasses are gone.

We have a problem here ALL games. Yes ALL games on the PC can work in 3d, as its got nothing to do with the game itself, just how the hardware deals with the data provided by the game.

So saying its in 3d for a PC makes no sense tbh.... Ive seen the old ones being played in 3D so

3D Smee D. Complete waste of time and why Fermi is crap, because Nvidia really need to stop investing in rubbish when they have more pressing issues so close to home.

No doubt C2 will just be another Nvidia Thomas the Tank fest any way. Bring on New Vegas.

You can play the original in 3d if you have the screen glasses and a top end Nvid card. The tech is actually amazing when you see it first hand, I just hope ATI hurry up with theirs. 3D Vision is one of the few things Nvid have done I agree with tbh.

That's absolutely correct Guvnor, the main advantage will be for the 360 and PS3 and you can even play in 3D on a pc without a 3D monitor by enabling Nvidia's 3D Vision Discover which is built in the driver & using two colour classes but it doesn't look very convincing not to bad with 3D photos though.

Is it really that good? Cripes.

TBH though mate it'll be a definite no for me. I have all kinds of motion problems. Cars (puke) theme park rides (puke and anxiety due to messed up fluid in ears) and so on. I have only ever owned two handhelds.. A Gameboy (B&W original) and a DS. The gameboy had me in hospital being violently sick and the DS gave me a crippling migraine after about two minutes.

I have vertigo and all sorts of other issues. Walking bag of laughs me

So this will definitely mess me up

I remember a few months ago the Sun were handing out 3D glasses with a poster to look at of the world up. I put them on, felt quite ill and walked straight into the living room wall. God I was so disorientated.

I bet you will see fine if the glasses were x ray glasses and angelina jolie was standing in front of you

mate just wait till boxing day comes and you will pick up a whole 3d package (TV+BR+GLASSES) for around 800 £ I've been in sales all my life and I know how these things work as for the glasses I've seen some models with rechargeable batteries.

I have used the Nvidia stuff and it is pretty good.

Played with it at the Nvidia stand at the Gadget Show Live at the NEC.

Think they had it hooked up to Just Cause 2 and Battlefield Bad Company 2.

Both looked really really good, but I don't think I'd like to play my games like it all the time.
