Corsair to high end Sennheiser ?

Just wondering if anyone has gone from the fairly low to mid range Corsair cans i.e 1400's to the higher end Sennheiser stuff i.e their 360's, 350's, 363's etc...

What was your experience like going from low/mid Corsairs to the Sennheisers ?

They'd be better. In all honesty my ol' £40 headset beat Corsair's best.

You don't usually notice a difference when you go to a better quality headset. You only notice when you go back.
Unfortunately I have no experience with Corsair, so my opinion is mostly invalid here, I do however have some experience with Sennheiser. So I went from a Siberia V2 to a Sennheiser because it was uncomfortable and the microphone sucked. Unfortunately the Sennheiser was still uncomfortable, but the microphone was excellent. The soundquality of the headphones is also quite good in direct comparison to the Siberia V2s. Due to the Sennheiser being too uncomfortable for me I have since moved on to a beyerdynamic Custom One Pro (with a desk mounted Blue Snowball) which has even better sound quality due to it's more closed off design there's not so much interference from background noise as with the Sennheiser. It's still very uncomfortable after an hour of wearing tho.

DISCLAIMER: I have the kind of ears that make everything but in-ear plugs very uncomfortable, that's why I just use the best sounding (cheapest) headphones I can to make it worth the pain.

If you have normal ears Sennheiser Headsets are probably comfortable, offer great sound quality, headphones and microphone and the models you list come with a really good external sound card (which I still use with my custom one pro).

tl;dr Sennheiser -> Pretty good

Much appreciated thank you but the open sound wont be an issue as the Sennheisers I just bought the G4ME Zeros which cost a robbery total of £199.99 have a steel closed off ear cup and oversized earcups so the comfort will be awesome according to everyone who has reviewed them has said they are amazingly comfortable

The headphones above, The Sennheiser G4ME Zeros arrived this morning from Germany and all I can say is this,

They made love to my ears, Seriously my head is now expecting twins, They are amazing, Music sounds awesome, Films sound big if that makes sense and games are mind blowing.

Welcome to the world of 'proper' audio equipment (well, as far as headsets go ;P).
As I always seem to say, I'd be all over that headset if I hadn't recently bought a more expensive headset :I.

Gamecom Commander. I got it for £125, it was £225 on amazon until recently. Now it's £100.
FML.

Basically its not comfortable but the microphone sounds better than my ol' Blue Snowball. Audio wise its pretty nice (most balanced headset I've ever heard, not too much bass, not too much treble) however it wasn't a mindblowing change from my old headset, The gamecom 780. Luckily it turns out that its just the 780 is fantastic so i'm not that much of an idiot.

Ahh yes I actually tried one of those a few days ago but to be honest I wasn't blown away by it.
The Sennheiser is a completely different beast though ^_^
