Ok people,

I was to buy an Corsair Hx1000W powersupply but after I saw this video I got very afaird. Bacause the contruction work is just very very bad. The soldering on it looks made by a 15 year old kid.

Just see:

The real video have 2:30min the rest is garbage.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uu6XN1XKbFU (NOTE: LOWER YOU VOLUME AT THE BEGUINING)

The guy recomends an Enermax Revolution. Is as expensive as the Corsair, and just see the soldering quality in the other video:

Start watching at 0:45min

So People tell me what you think about this disapointing situation.

Thanks

to be honest, i believe that the video can be of any psu so i believe its fake as i havent heard any complaints from anyone about cosair psu's also they give you a 7 year warranty and im sure if they had soldering like the one in the vid they wount be confident in their product, so seen as they are i highly doubt there would be an issue. im using a hx 750w and im very pleased with it, its cool, its very quiet and also very efficient.

Yeah seems like a hoax to me, or atleast maybe an early production model, i have a HX1000 and its been very quiet, stable and just a kickass psu.

Ah i see, well i wouldnt worry about it to much, if all the HX1000's in the world would have that poor job of soldering, we would know, but so far i havent seen anyone really complaign about their HX1000 with regards to a badly constructed product.

I think this must be a one in a million dud tbh. Corsair PSU's are normally so reliable and come with epic warranties as well. My HX850 has a 5 year warranty so it'll easily outlive all my current hardware.

thats the video of his corsair after he blew it up i bet, he turned out to be an unlucky chap

Was somtime ago but honestly Im not worry if the PowerSupply blows up. Im worry if blow up with some of my components with it.

I know a mate had a cheapo one and it took out his entire computer. But I thought the more premium supplies were meant to have safety features that limited damage to other parts? Or have been sold a pup there?
