Corsair fan rings, Anyone painted them ?

I've seen quite a few peoples builds with the Corsair SP series fan rings and they have all sorts of colours, How would you paint these, Just spray paint ?

I've only seen red, blue and white rings, which come with the fan.

B-Neg did painted ones in a build he did for some kid. Could PM him and ask how he did it? I'm assuming it's spraypaint though.

i painted some. due to the flexibility, they will scratch and mark easily. but if careful
on installation, they will stay sharp.. i've seen gold, orange, teal, black (i did) and
yellow..

i used a flexible plastic primer and then flexible color rattle-can paints.

I have airbrushed a few of the white ones. with translucent paint it works really well.
