Hey,

I was looking at getting the AX760i but im unsure if its worth getting that over the 760. Is the only difference corsair link? and is that worth the extra 30 quid? I have a H80i with corsair link already.

Thoughts Please?

Regards Alistair

Do you plan on actually using the Link software? I've only ever seen one person using it, so it can't be that great. If you're not going to use it, save the money; if you are going to use it, look into it more and maybe you'll reconsider and decide you want to save money still; however, if you still want to use it, get the 760i version :)

The moment you wonder whether Corsair link is worth the money; it's usually not.

The OEM of the AX760 is also Seasonic whilst the OEM of the AX760i is Flextronics iirc, so there's a difference. Both are great quality units anyway.

Thanks, Yea i dont really use it now. I only use to control H80i fans. but i don't think id mess with PSU fan and other stuff. Im not fussed about monitoring my voltages and all that stuff. I just want a good power supply that will last.

i find it intresting, and have fun looking and playing with some bits but if your no that kinda person then just save the money and spend it elsewhere on your rig :)

Yea i guess. Its only £16 more for the i though!

Still not worth it if you have no use for it.

Everything in the PC world is "just a bit more for a tad more performance/ features". There's just a point where you have to decide that you don't need that performance or those features. Saves you a lot of money :)

If you want to use Link, by all means go for it. If you won't, just save yourself the money and do something else with it.
