Anyone remember the thread about free beer? (i'd dig it up if i could find it). Well.... i got mmy ticket through the other day and got the beer. Never trust the co-op they made me pay 42p for it, agh. Anyways, just wondered what everyone else thought about it. personally i love the taste!

Got my free ticket through too, but doesn't say where you can use it.

I'm kinda embarrassed to use it, as it makes me look like a cheap-skate lol

what ady said. Embarresment is totaly worth beer!!! hell, i've done alot worse than use a free ticket too get beer. (really is in the interest of overclock3d not to ask what :P )

I'm still peed off that on the front it says free 4 x bottles, yet on the back it say worth £3.99 so they charged me 42p.

Pffffft, on the kronenbourg blank now. Hmmmmmm

Is it just me or does Coors taste very flat

At LLwyd, I spell your name correct all the time, I want reps :D

We have free Beer here in Reno, stop by sometime and lets have a pint (or 2 or 3...).

you don't have pints, only girly half measures

well from what I've seen in films you do

Ive been trying to get more hours in each day too. With modding and drinking there arent enough left to get a good sleep.:)

Where did you guys get your beers from then? So I don't get rejected from likes of bigger stores that probably don't accept vouchers other than their own

coors is watered down crap, like all american lagers..ala bud...

but free beer is free beer, and im pretty sure i wd have enjoyed it just for that :)

Not sure what your beer coupon looks like but it sounds like it should be accepted everywhere. Best way to check is see if the bar-code begins with a 99 - if it does, everywhere should accept it so long as it's in date and used against the right product.

Plus don't blame the Co-op for making you pay 42p it sounds like its a Coors coupon so they'll have put the £3.99 restriction on themselves.

I say all this without sight of the coupon itself or where it originated from of course but from reading through the thread, I'm surmising it's a Coors coupon :)

From a curs-ed Marketer :D
