cooling - what to do??

with the news of nventiv going bust what do you gvuys think I should do about cooling, Should I go for some of the 'good' waterblocks that phil is getting in as I already have all the other parts for a w/cing system - this would obviously be the cheap option. Or go for a vapochill LS? This will be used for amd FX cpu.

I had the same dilema. Was planning an FX plus GT system but unfortunately that cant happen. Phil offered me a St which i took though thankfully. Heard the LS's were quite noisy and I want a quiet system.

I'm sure you'd be happy with either a LS or a water system. If you do go for a water system go for top end products though as it'll still end up cheaper than a prommie.

the only problem is ive already bought a meanwell and a 172W pelt which supposedly was going to go on my vid card -0 this would heat up my water too much on regurlar w/cing though. <aybe phil will find me a prommy somewhere.....

There's a GT in the for sale section! I'm starting to be tempted by the LS that Phil is gonna stock. If only they hadnt gone under

the problem is I need a A64 kit. also I want the lioan li silver add on kit.

about the LS - I'm sure ive seen many reviews about the GT beating it fairly heavily, also isn't it supposed to be quite noisy.

While the GT is better I dont think the difference is huge and the LS is better than a normal Mach2 so either one will give a nice overclock. Apparantly on XR bowman said the noise levels wernt much different. Am going to have a look and read through his GT vs LS thread.
