Let's say u have a hunk of metal u think would make a good cooler - as an example we'll say u got a plate on it too.

Now further to this u want to bolt it to a miscellaneous gpu.

Are there either tools, variable brackets, u could buy somewhere that will aide u in trying to kill your hardware ?

My thinking is that there probably is for those who make pots for cpus/gpus ?

Dunno myself, looking for info/links.

get a bit of paper and then poke holes to get rough placing, then a bit of card and stick ****tail sticks through that till you get it in the right places then just make a mounting bracket with the holes in the right place, what i did to make a new 478 cooler that id lost the mouting brackets for

I guess if the bracket that normally holds the cooler doesnt fit, adapt something to it to allow a suitable clamp and just be sure to insulate the pcb where necessary.

hmm time to enter the lab.

Really wondered if there was a ready solution to this - ala being lazy.
