Hey boys, Im hoping to find the time to start socialising with you forum F*&£ers gaming in the not to distant future one of the games being Rocket League.

I know its much easier with a controller so Im just wondering what one you would recomment and what adapters would you suggest if I wanted to get a wireless version?

I have both the 360 controller and the Xbone controller. I use them wired, but wouldn't mind a wireless one for my TV (currently use a USB extension cable).

Any way, they've obviously both very similar but the Xbone controller is considerably lighter and more comfy because of it. Though do note, going wireless will add batteries and weight.

I don't know what pricing is like but I would imagine they both have a similar price. Also note, 360 wired controller is just that and you can't use it wireless like you can with the Xbone controller (just batteries and a dongle converts it).

Edit to add. If you already have a 360 wireless controller I have a receiver here brand new in the packing that I never used. I was meaning to buy a 360 wireless but never bothered in the end. It's not an official one but it works well apparently (I bought it off the recommendation of a gaming chum).

So yeah, if you can get access to a 360 wireless controller I will send you the receiver gratis.

XBone controller with official wireless adapter and plug and play kit for charging. Works flawlessly once set up. Alternatively, use it wired, works just as well.

I use my Xbox One Elite Wireless controller but I just plug it in with the lead and use it wired.

I'm sorry but that Xbox One Elite Wireless controller is stupidly over priced, I mean $200AUD for a damn controller there is nothing wrong with the Xbox 360 one or even the normal XBone one.

I know that, I'm saying it's over priced for what it is IMO there is nothing special about it.
I've always thought that the Xbox One Elite Wireless controller is just a scam done bye Microsoft just to see how many people would paid that kind of money.

'Straya mate.

Xbox 360 Wireless is the only controller I have so that's gotta do. Battery life sucks and there's no easy way to turn it off aside from wait for it to go to sleep or pull out the battery pack.

Might try the XBone wireless if this one breaks. I only use it for racing games as I don't own a wheel yet.
