connection seems to be odd.

well yesterday my brother would connect from the net every hour but it wont effect me now i have the same problem today, and it wont effect him ..why is this?

we are using the same router as well. and server is with VM

do not use the router provided by VM, it is terrible - buy another one

the linksys WRT54GLs are good

Had a problem like this yesterday. Net disconnected 2 or 3 times within a hour. Guess it was just VM updating stuff.

I'm using the new "Super" hub and the old d-link dr615 router.

we have a 30mb connection now..upgraded so had to have a HUB..used to be a router linkseys.

the "hub" is terrible - go back to the linksys - your speeds will be better

Yeah I upgraded to the 30mb connection and had to upgrade to the "Super Hub". Turned out you couldn't connect other routes to the hub.

VM are bringing out a firmware update next month to change this and you can also config the hub to allow other routes to connect to it.

If you keep having problems the best bet would be to contact VM.

sure ill do that if my father gets in his head that the linkseys is better as the hub is in his computer room
