Hey guys, this has been frustrating for a while now and it is when one PC is connected straight to router via Ethernet cable and the second PC is connected via WiFi, for some reason the PC connected via Ethernet is always crashing on LAN Party's and it just disconnects? It's not the game because we have tried Age Of Empires III LAN, Star Craft II LAN, Command and Conquer LAN's and every time the PC which is connected through Ethernet crashes.
Both PC's have more than enough horse power to drive the games and LAN's and we have tried hosting the LAN from both PC's but still the same outcome? The PC connected via Ethernet cable straight to the router disconnects after about 5 minutes in-game.
Also we know its the Ethernet cable causing the problem because I have hosted LAN's with 2 PC's connected through WiFi using WiFi Dongles to the router and not one it crashes and we can finish the game, and before the PC that crashes through Ethernet cable was using a WiFi dongle before and it never use to disconnect 5 minutes in the LAN game. I have also tried different Ethernet bales and different versions of OS but still the same thing. So can anyone explain the problem and how to fix it because I did some searches and I cannot find what I'm looking for?
Both PC's are using Windows 8.1
