yo guys, yesterday i tryed goin on my computer came on started the baby up, and then it went to the black screen n was lke run windows noiramlly, safe mode,safe mode w. other things n i ran normally and every other option, then a b lue screen pops up n says hard ware me be mest or software may be mest, and i put the windows xp cd in to try n restarted the thing, and that doesnt work, what should i do....

dont you mean that the hardware or software might be wrecked... better hope its just the software.. anyway did you re-install windows?

Hard disk corruption! -- go to rescue mode (press R on the first options page in your windows installdisk) an use the chkdsk utility -- use the /p & /r switches type: chkdsk /p /r (Click here for info bout recovery console)
A Driver/software error! -- install any drivers /soft recently?
A Hardware fault! -- it could be an overheating Proc or northbridge (Abit boards are notorious for faulty NB fans if you have an abit it may be worth a check)
remeber to reset your CMOS memory (the most effective way is to unplug ur comp and remove the CMOS battery as the Clear jumper may take a ong time to work)
