sounds like your mobo. I'd try using the jumper settings to reset it first.

Have done mate, it's up now running fine, but I dare to take off heatsink if I need to do so lol.

The weird thing was, when I took the whole components out of comp it seemed to post and boot. Placed back in case and NOTHING....

Short maybe?

could be, i'd check to make sure all the spacers are there underneath the motherboard and make sure there aligned.

2-3weeks old, brand is EZ cool, waiting for one from Jim from OC3D comp :D.

All components are BRAND new, nothing old.

I heard they do bad PSUs.

Someone confirm for me.

I confirm for you, although it seems to be better than Hyper 580 :D.

Was just weird considering all I did was replace the heatsink and BOOOM :(.

Will be getting new one soon(ish), so hopefully this is it, but why after jumping the BIOS it seemed to boot?

i still think your idea of shorting is your best bet. Maybe moving something when fitting the heatsink.

I am nearly certain it was shortening... BUT it also didn't boot once or twice out of case, but seemed to remedy the issue for a long time. I have flashed/updated/reset the BIOS now, seems to be running PERFECT.

I noticed upon inspection that the things underneath attached the mobo tray were placed in a different location than last time .... (dunno how), but I continued anyway. Maybe underneath where the solder is had shortened the board.

It stopped fluctuating?

Sometimes it would, sometimes it would start.... 5secs later... turn off.... 5 secs later turns back on.

Seems like a shorten, was really weird, IMPOSSIBLE infact to dim down problems, seemed every item was busteddd:(

I had that with my Enermax once, it killed 5 motherboards... you almost felt like going "M-M-M-Monster Kill!" when you knew that the motherboard had bit the dust... no idea why it done it, but just be on the look out, I still don't know what happened to mine, all I do know is 2 M2N SLi Delux's and 2 Crosshair's are in silicon heaven. Bloody expensive as well...
