Hi kempez

Just a 3500+ Winnie and dual 6600GT's, I wanted dual 68GT's but the budget has been sabotaged by the missus.

Ahh...still sounds pretty cool...shoulda got one 6800GT then saved and got another one :worship:

I know...my missus moans at me after (and before) every purchase!

"Not more computer stuff. Haven't you got one of them alreadY"

Yeah seriously one 6800GT will run about the same as two 6600GT's and then you have the oppertunity to get another one... :)

/me is getting SLI as soon as i've got my prommy :D

Hmmm prolly should travel that path then kempez. Sorry XMS for hijacking your thread mate :o

ahhh..I'm sure Jim don't mind...he's getting a legendary system anyhoo!! w00t!!

np PV....good luck with all that!! :)

xms man, get the xp-90c and a panaflo high speed. as much as i like my xp120 i want an xp90c because it's smaller and does an equal cooling job! i can't reach a few things on my mobo w/out taking out the 120. also, i'm not sure if the 120 even fits the sli-dr. i know on the ultra-d, you can only use one pci-e slot so...yea, xp90c :D

That's what I reckon...I l;ove my XP-120 but it gets in the way of stuff a lot :(

Get the XP90c and you'll be a happy camper (don't deny it!!) ;)

Since the board layout of the SLI and Ultra-D are the same I reckon u'd run into the same problem on the SLI board of only being able to use one PCI-E slot.... Sooo, get the XP-90C and run that sucka till u get ur Mach II GT :D

I'm getting kinda amped up to order my Vapochill, been doing some research and it looks like a freakin' awesome ass kit.

Edit: I love your new AMD/Nvidia blips under ur name XMS :D Nice to know that we have the admin on the dark side, muahahaha

i dont blame you jim. i expect i shall be doing the same very soon. even though i did buy an intel as my first build, and for some reason i have a favour towards intel, i cannot deny that amd have a leading edge and i want 64bit and some good performance in gaming. you guys will be picking me a system very soon.

Nice...I think i might do a "XMS Systems - Old vs New" review type thing, with some benches between my amd/intel overclocked rigs.

U need to log the intels max overclock in thd official intel overclock thread. I think u might find that the diegos ouerclock yields better results on air than the intel did on water.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

My order is coming via the shittest, most pathetic wank delivery service in the world....AMTRAK!!!!!!!!

So i've sent an email to overclock.co.uk to see if there is anything they could do:

"Hi Overclock,

Why o why o why did you have to send my parcel out via amtrack!!! They are the shitest (excuse french) delivery service ever.

Now the chances of my parcel coming before the weekend (which was the whole reason i ordered with you and not overclockers.co.uk - who i know use amtrack) are pretty much nil.

There is no delivery info about my parcel on their website, if you try to call them, you get a recorded message saying that Wall parcels are delivered between 8-6W which is total loblocks, as i've NEVER had a parcel arrive next day from them!

All they do is pretend to deliver next day by putting on their site (attempted delivery) - but never put a note through your door (because they never did knock at your door).

For the good of your company, please consider using a reputable company such as city link who are far more reliable!!

If there is anything you can do to ensure delivery today (any contacts at amtrack?), it would be very much appreciated, as otherwise i think i may be forced to return my order (as i have done with previous amtrack bad experiences).

Thanks"

Ah...the exact reason why I limit my internet ordeing experiences to a few sites that I KNOW will deliver the goods on time...ARIA and of course Kustom PC's.

I feel for ya man....that's a bit shit.

Still..ya never know...AMTRAK may pull it outta the bag! :D

Yeah as if...i've had 3 orders from them...all delivered late.

The thing is overclock.co.uk used to deliver via city link which are really good....but now they use amtrack...they must want their business to go bust.
