COD MW2 HACKER

Me too, it's no fun...... Dunno why people have to spoil the game for everyone else, just to make themselves look good

I stopped playing FPS online basically cause of CS1.6 cheats i still play rts etc and the odd bit of Team Fortress doesnt seem to be many hackers their

just play games what allow you to kick/ban

stopped playing css and cod due to them, but hey League of legends and WoW are much better games.

Nice vid of the lan cheat but was blatantly set up. In regards to cheaters - unfortunatley you get them all the time, OC3D used to have some really good COD4 servers which were always full, then that got full of cheaters from the Balkan countries and before you knew it they were hacked and had to be shut down.

A real shame but the drama is unless you totally lock them down and have admins on 24/7 it will always happen.

I still play COD4 on PC adn the minute I see cheaters on I just leave and go somewhere else, I only play HC so its easy to spot them, another real pain are nade spammers switching teams ...grrrr, still there are plenty of servers out there

Yeah that was so staged lol. I agree not much cheating in MMO's. But if you consider all the addons and mods, at what point are you not playing the original game but playing the addons instead lol.

The only real online FPS games I play on the PC are games like Red Orchestra which are sort of niche games not allot of people play meaning less hackers and also, allot of the admins on that game are active in the community and actually know what they are doing. While most kiddies stick to the more popular games like CoD. I highly recommend you guys check it out. The sequel is coming out soon. its not as good looking as CoD by a long shot, but its just some good old FPS fun. All of the other games I play are MMORPGs which are pretty much hacker free, for the most part.

Seems like there always will be kids who cheat (they don't actually have knowledge to 'hack' a game)

Ever since quake3/cs1.4 and the whole 'pro-gaming' scene there has been a load of kids cheating

I know there were people making aimbots etc before quake3 as I know someone who coded a aimbot for duke nukem but it was never as bad.

Also playing on a console doesn't help you, there are loads of people cheating on consoles. There are also people using mice on fps games on consoles (prob about 10x better and more accurate than using a controller). Also doesn't seem to be much banning etc on consoles as it's mostly peer 2 peer

Best thing to do is play on a server where you know people get banned or if you're really into it get a clan server and play clan only matches.

I have to agree with you all. My best multiplay experience was a BF1942 server owned by our guild. It was open to everyone, and we didn't line up guild vs guests, it was first come first in. If we found anyone acting like a twit.. i mean a REAL twit, we kicked 'em after warnings. But, my love was, and always will be the early days of Quake. THat, was a community. People playing till the late-late hours, then we'd meet in the middle of quake 2 map and trade tips, hints, ideas etc. Once we were all practicing juggling grenades when 4 ppl logged on to battle.. and walked in on that scene. ROFLMAO! They didn't fire a shot, just stood there... but those days are the history, and now is reality. Haxxors who need to do so to play, are the ultimate of lowclass humanoids. Useless, irritating, and proud to be an anvil around the experience of the others. You can only catch and kick... nothing else will do. They have no pride, no class, and will end up running corporations. Hmm, I feel some sort of rainbow thing there.. oh well. To those who use skills, I raise my glass and salute you, and hope to battle you on the polygonal grounds of death.
