I'm looking for some red LED fans that are very bright and look good (also having reasonable performance)

I was thinking CM Sickleflows how bright are they? Will they light up a case?

Any other suggestions?

How much you wanting to pay?

Tom had some sweet looking red with black transparent ones in a resent WC video.

I think they were £20 each and are good performers.

Yeah these ones, I can't remember them being that bright, I'm going to have to go back and have a look.

And probs around the £10 mark.
 
The Enermax fans seem to be pretty bright. My UCCL12 Twisters, which are white, are very bright. White and purple tend to be brighter than colours like red, blue and green.
 
I also want to use these fans for watercooling in the future, so what's the minimum cfm needed?
 
With the right rads um sure it they will be fine. Yoy can go for higher cfm/rpm fans but theyll be very loud compared and the differnce will be very slight.
 
I have blue sickleflow fans in my rig im using a fractal R3 now but when I was using my HAF X with a 360 rad. The fans were enough to light up the inside of the case even on 7 volts. I had 3 mounted under the rad and one as an exhaust. They are pretty damn loud at 12 volts though.

The sickle flows are bright when run @ 12v but the trade of with having the LEDs at full power is the fans are too and they are not quiet.

The red ones I used were Phobya fans and the 1500rpm ones were not 'too' bad.

Yeah I just remembered that you had used them in the assassin rig and I was going to ask you whether they were as bright/brighter than what the camera shows. But I've been reading more reviews on them and from what I can tell they are extremely loud

Can you personally think of any fans that come to mind of this description? Good looking red LED fans that are quiet and would be suitable to use on a rad in the future

Nothing will ever tick every box like that mate, youll always have to sacrifice somewhere.
 
Yeah I know, I'm thinking maybe sound won't be as bad as I'm going to use a fan controller and fans I have at the moment are no where near silent.

Has anyone ever used the Xigmatek Crystal fans?
