"Clean Build" by Viepert

Ok, thanks guy's.
I was thinking about sleeving them with paracord.
It's alot cheaper (€0,15 p/foot) but also alot more work and difficult.

:O That is an EXCELLENT way to tidy up the mobo wires!! that's excellent.

That said why isn't that a bloody standard!?? that's such a cracking idea!!

Even something like whipping the front connector off and re-attaching it to the back of the board and then reverse wiring a 24pin.. that's such a nifty idea.

I really like where this is going :)

i was thinking that myself that is a really good idea!

though it would bug me seeing the connector with no pins but i'm sure there is a way to cover it up.

Stroke of genius with the 8/24 Pin soldering! Seen it done on GPUs in mITX builds but this is the first Mobo I've seen very tidy indeed!

Haha, awesome!

Would indeed make me go "wtf?" had I seen it in person without the build log.

Paracord isn't that bad you can get a tool for it to make it much much easier, I find it's easier to measure and get accurate results than the mdpc-x stuff, and with it being denser, it's worth the effort tbh.

Posting all the pics in the first post is an awesome idea dude but please have them in there own post too, that way for a newcomer to the site they have a timeline of the questions people ask and the reactions to updates without having to keep clicking back ;)

Kudos on the effort with this one though, its nice to see some old school hard work going into a project - reminds me of how things used to be done.

You dont need expensive kit and loads of money to make a unique rig. Youve certainly got me wanting to see more :)

Thinking i am gonna give it a go.
I watched a vid from Lutro0 and it does seem easier then normal sleeve.
Also because normal sleeve is basiclly plastic and paracord is fabric. It has a much nicer look to it. And it's way cheaper too.
Only €0,40 per meter. Sow i'm just gonna order a bit and try it out.
If it works, i can always order more.

Ya, that was all on me TT, every forum has it's own rules and should've read them better. Next update will all be in reply's.

Well, if i could make a insane rig, i would. But i made a couple of mistake in the past and i'm paying for it now, litterally.
Can't have a insane comp, bike, car etc on loans. It will eat you up.
But now with my new girl watching over me, i'm doing the right thing ;)
