[UPDATED] Christmas Rig / First Build
Hey guys, a friend told me to jump over here if I ever needed advice on my planned build, and seeing as it's nearly boxing day I'm getting ready to purchase stuff.
This build will be my first ever custom build, and although I have a reasonable knowledge I'm not 100% sure on everything, including if the parts will fit in the case etc, and it's always good to have a second opinion. If you guys could recommend ways to also save money that would also be appreciated, as I'm always looking for the best performance at the lowest price. I plan to Overclock the CPU and the GPU as far as I can get them.
Everything can be found here; http://pcpartpicker.com/uk/p/tLr0
except the PSU has been changed to the one listed below.
If you can't access the link I'll type everything up:
GPU - MSI Twin Frozr 3GD5 V2/OC Radeon HD 7950 AMD Graphics Card - 3GB
CPU - Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
CPU Cooler - Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler
Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H ATX LGA1155 Motherboard
RAM - Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4Gig) DDR3-1866 Memory
HDD - Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
SSD - Samsung 830 Series 128GB 2.5" Solid State Disk
Case - Fractal Design Define R4 (Black Pearl) ATX Mid Tower Case
PSU - 750W Seasonic M12II-750 80PLUS Bronze Modular Power Supply
Optics - Internal Samsung Sata High Speed DVD Writer SH-222 Quick Automatic Detection
Thanks in advance, Reasoner.
