Cheating on overclock3d CoD4

PB isnt detecting a certain aim bot ( player broodjekip was aim botting i did SS but i cant find where they are saved

Yes this unfortunatually is an issue although it is possible to check for the cvar for this aimbot if set to kick ban

mombot it was, usual aimbot >< i wouldnt mention it, but i dont think 99% of the people on server even know about the website

yes I guessed that it would be that bot, seems to be the most widespread publically available atm.

I can forward the cvars if needed there is two sets for adding to search until it is added to pb let me know Jim, can either post them or message me I and I will reply back with them.

The above should be removed once PB updates and kicks for the cheat but at the moment the above will check to make sure they are off and if not present should be fine if any values are set then it will kick. It will need testing. Not sure if you want to remove the cvars above once you have them up to you.

EDIT: Sorry Jim didnt read over your last message properly. If you create a file in notepad and name it pbsv.cfg add the above cvars to it then place it in your pb folder on the server. Then initiate a pb restart all will be good.

Here is a link to punksbusted recommended configs http://www.punksbusted.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=47101 they do need a little editing but not a great deal. You can also use those configs for rotating messages. I could edit the files up ready for you if you wanted let me know.

If you look at the ban codes, most of the people the ban code is due to the common CD key for the copied version of cod4 (1 person was banned with Pb using the same key so the key is perma banned). starts with 50 if i remember right 50c5 i think it was.

So they could all work around it if they searched on the net and play the server

Nice I can confirm this is working was just on #2 when a guy funnily enough who was on #1 server last night made a mess and type mom_aimbot 1 in to chat I presume he got it right as a couple of minutes later he was kicked by punkbuster for a violation

Yes some public released keys have been globally banned and that is the bulk of the pb kicks at the moment.

This is sounding very hopeful. Good work to you and the oc3d admin for putting the time and effort into making the servers a great place to be.

If everything goes well, then putting it onto #1 will be a cracking move

Theres a guy on the number 2 server now, seems to be jumping from head to head. Would have speced and demo'd, but X-fire thought it would crash my game for Kicks and giggles. Will see if hes still on now.

Edit. The player list says hes gone. Can't remember his name which is annoying. will keep an eye out.

There was one guy on tonight around 11ish where he was going round with just a handgun killed over 120 and died in the low 30's not a clue if it was a cheat but kept me amused for some time.

Maybe, some people are just too good though.

I guess he was on your team. Otherwise, just watch the death cam. Hacks are usually quite obvious if its for scores like that.
