cheap Windows keys from auction sites.

I have been thinking about building a new rig for quite a while. Now it seems like a good time to do it, with gtx 960 launch just around the corner.
For a new pc I will also need a new OS, since old trusty XP just doesnt cut it no more. I have been scouting the internet in search of decently priced copies of windows 7. I have come across some very cheap keys on the action site (polish "ebay" if you will) not only for windows 7 but also windows 8. It's usually 33-45% of the total price you would have to pay in a store. I have written a message to microsoft, asking whether those are legitimate keys, but they apparently dont give a damn, since they did not bother to respond.
I was wondering if you have ever purchased a key like this, or if you know someone who did. I am curious whether those are legitimate keys giving you full access to the OS and all of its functions, updates, etc, etc, or if there is any catch in it.

Thanks alot for info!

I was expecting its going to be an oem version.
Well, I hate microsoft licensing system. To me it's ridiculous how much they charge for each system. The only reasonably priced versions are for OEMs, but then again you have all the restrictions. I wish we lived in a better world where whatever you buy becomes your property and not just a license to use it according to strict, unjustified rules and regulations of the manufacturer.
No wonder people are pirating windows so much... And then they dont even see fit to protect your data from thugs the likes of nsa.

An OEM shop in my nearest city was closing down becase the company behind it went bankrupt and the people were selling out their leftover OEM software and OS licenses. I could have bought some for 20Euros each but come on guys let's be honest they should be paying me money to buy a vista license
