Hello, it's been a long time :(

I am looking for watercooling on the cheap that will stop my computer from freezing becuase it gets so hot (case temp at 60-70oC)!!

Basically something that will keep it at an acceptable level, I have a TRUE cooler and its sucking in hot air from my graphics card, so graphics cooling is more important here.

Thanks.

Try an aftermarket cooler for your card.

+1.

Also a better CPU cooler than your current one if there is such a thing.

Tbh honest mate, there is no such thing as cheap watercooling. You either do it right or you don't and to do it right you need monies.

CPU loop can be done for 170 - 200 pounds with all new parts. If you want to include the GPU and motherboard it'll come closer to 300 or higher.

So I'd reconsidering the watercooling choice. What about putting a vortexx neo on the graphics card so the hot air is blown out and checking the positioning of casefans in your case?

If you could make a photo of the case ands indicate how the fans blow it would help us help you a lot.

If you dont want to spend 200-250 mate then just get a really good air cooler, the GTS isnt that hot tbh, make sure your case has some good flow through it, and get an AC Acellero V1 passive cooler for the gpu then strap a 120mm fan to it if you like.

No matter what you do it sounds like you need better air flow in your case.

I will take a picture, but it is simply one fan at the rear and two on the side panel. Can anyone reccomend a cooler? I will look into AC Acellero V1 passive cooler. I can't find any info about that one, so can someone help me find a graphics card cooler then? I will ditch my CPU cooler for a smaller one so it can face outwards.

The thing is, I don't have much space, so a new case + cooler will be about £120 alone. The GTS does get really hot, but mine just gets even hotter.

The thing is that if it puts out hot air, the CPU fan sucks in hot air and warms it up!

Definitely Go with the case air flow. The heat has to go somewhere or all your components will heat up. Exhaust is the main factor a 120 x 38 type fan for volume you can try.Try this with the cpu cooler mentioned earlier and you should stable out.

Well no matter what case I have, the CPU is always sucking in air from the top of the graphics card - which is around 60 degrees c.

When I first got my QX6700 2 1/2 years ago I got a P5NE-sli, an 8800gts 640 and 4x1g ddr2 800. If your overclocking then the mobo itself will be kicking out some heat, NB SB temps will rise. If like me you got 4x1g then the memory sticks being so close together kicks out some heat as well. Airflow is crucial so I had 2 120mm fans exhausting out the backand 1 120mm feeding from the front of an antec P180. I wouldn't recommend this case for watercooling though as I chopped mine to bits to fit a 360 rad inside.

I used a Swiftech mcw60 with ramsinks, but I also had to put a sink on the chip highlighted as it gets hot and needs some air circulated.

Turn your CPU cooler around so it sucks air in from by your DVD drive area. Rather than from your graphics card.

If done correctly, there should be a fan at the back of your case and it will extract hot air coming from your CPU cooler. Job done!

To the above ^^ I would, but its HUGE, and unnecessary, if someone could recommend a good GPU cooler I will buy that, sell my TRUE and put the smaller one back on :)

PS: if the inside temp of the case is 60oC, no matter where it's facing there's a problem!! :P

I thought the high temps were becuase of the CPU, and just finally worked out the problem that it's the GPU.

Thanks for all your help!
