cheap fans that work well upside down.

Any reccomendations for cheap fans that work upside down.
i have gentle sythe typhoons and well honestly they suck.. as fans i guess they are fine and if they werent upside down i guess they would be fine too..
but they have plastic c clips that hold the fan spindle in place and when running upside down they wear out/come loose so the fan drops down in the housing and clips the rad making a horendous noise..
I cant stand it any longer. but dont have much spare cash at the moment. Any old fans will do. i have lots of rad space so they dont even need to be sp. but they do have to work upside down

The cheap fans provided from EK are decent. Gelid make them.

I used them for quite a while and noise isnt bad, neither is performance. I dont think they perform as well as the typhoons though.

I wonder how well corsair's new magnetic/ floating fans will work in this kind of config. It is annoying that some fans make more noise and wear out when it is mounted like that.

i wonder if any one makes fans that spin backwards specifically for top mounted exhaust so you dont have to have the stupid things upside down..

I've never heard of GT not performing well upside down.. You might just have some bad fans. I use GTs in push and pull(upside down) and they all perform flawlessly.

If you want cheap fans, just buy the CM packs that come in like 4 or whatever it is. I know Cougar sells there all black fans in a bundle of 4 for a decent price. The fans are solid too.
