hey guys,

I'm thinking of getting a CaseLabs STH10 in white for my next build around December time so until then i can get a few pay checks together .

Just wanted if anyone from the UK has ordered one or any other Caselabs case and how much the customs charge was?

I want to work out the costs of the case so I know when i can order other bits for the build?

Going to be using a few parts from current rig, only things i really need now are the xeons, case and cpu coolers. Then a few months later, start to plan out water cooling although I have a rough idea of how i want my loop

I'm from Belgium so not sure if it's the same in the UK but here the import duties are local VAT (21% in Belgium) + a bit of administration costs (20 euro I think it was). Shipping was $118 for an M8.

It was quite an investment but they really are high quality and the attention to detail is awesome.

Thanks for the reply, I do love all the builds I'm seeing on the net. I could buy it now but i'll still email caselabs and see what the approx charges for shipping will be and then around December time, put an order

Maybe I haven't seen them enough but I think they're overrated. People always say how good caselabs are at making cases and that they're cases have the best features etc but tbh looking at the size of the case it would fucking need to be able to hold that amount of rads etc. It's not like they worked really hard to make it so you can install things. They're just massive. And people always say how creative caselabs are because of all the add ons you can get. So you can get a box that goes on top of the case to hold more stuff. How inventive...

Guess you never had one. The only thing that you can't move around is your motherboard. Everything else can go almost anywhere and you're only limited by your own creativity.

yes they are expensive to many but i don't think they are overrated. I thinks its great to have a case where you can customise pretty much everything, how you want it to look. They are not all big, the new SM8 from CaseLab's Merlin series is a decent size case with many of the features you would see in the bigger Magnum Series.

One of the main reason's why i want a CaseLabs case.

Finishing work early today so i'll get some time this evening to choose additional accessories for this case. Might pick up two motherboard trays, one in white and another in black to see which i will like. With the options caselabs provide, i'll be browsing their site for at least a few hours

Hey dude, missed this thread earlier. I had a T10 shipped to the UK at easter. Shipping was $200 and the tax was £60. Great cases though :P

Thanks for the reply mate. The prices you mentioned now give more clear indication of what i can expect, plus the STH10 is slightly thinner in width so maybe cheaper shipping but i doubt by much.

Did you buy additional accessories with yours?

I think yours might come flat-packed which could make quite a difference actually. Mine came in a really big box!

Yea I got a few accessories, psu mount because I don't like the weight all on the frame when I travel. A few fan grills. SSD mounting kit and some short flex-bay device mounts for my optical bay res and fan controller. I think these things do differ between cases though.

I'm going to choose the flat-pack option so i can build it :)

I'm starting to got through the accessories i may need, i'd rather order them all in one go instead of paying customs every time i need something. one thing i might order is a 2nd motherboard tray in black, that i way i can try out which i like best, same goes for window, order one XL and one XXL but with this i rekon XXL will do as SR2 is quite large

Hi, i have one at stanstead airport now, waiting for them to email me with the charges. however the guys at caselabs are very helpful and are only declaring half of the value, so hopefully I will only pay half the taxes? I wqill let you know when I get my charges come through. Regards Glen
