Why wouldn't there be tax? Caselabs is based on California(as am I) and the sales tax here is 7.5% on what the product is and then after add shipping and handling. Since you are shipping to the UK shipping will be around or more as the case itself and you didn't exactly pick a lighter/smaller case from them so have fun with that payment! lol:p

But to find out contact their customer support and they should be able to give you the minimum cost after tax and shipping.

Definitely contact Case Labs and they'll set you straight. But be warned, it won't be cheap. I'm Canadian, and I paid $130 for shipping and $55 in taxes on top of that, so don't feel so bad. :) We even have a "free trade" agreement with the USA and I still ended up paying almost $200 on top of the case price. Nothing you can do about that though, and it's STILL worth the money.

Some states are sticklers about a company within their borders having to charge state sales tax on anything they sell. The US Fed Government is fighting over making it a federal law, that a company has to collect state tax for the state the product is being shipped to. It will be a major mess if that gets passed.

The goverment is already a mess unfortunatly. Their focus isn't where it should be... Don't feel like going into politics so i'm stopping there ^_^
