Does anyone have any experience with peel coat paints, plasti-dip, rust-oleum, etc, and how well it removes after a couple of years.
There's reasons why I can't have permanent paint, which is of course the best solution.
Most people won't spend the time needed to get it right. if people spend the cash (and time) it can look decent. Its just no one ever does. What are you looking to paint? near on every plastidip job I have seen looked dreadful.
OK here goes. Plastidip is crap. It's almost impossible to get a decent cover using it and it always looks thick and tacky.
The only Rustoleum paints I have used were permanent. Wasn't even aware they made removable paints? From experience though their paint is great for painting steel and metal (it's very much like Hammerite only American) but they are oil based and take days to dry properly.
As for the duration peel? I don't think they have even been around long enough to be tested like that tbh.

What do you want to paint? The wheels?
Hmm I've read various posts that finishes have been fairly decent.
No just the odd chrome trim, grilles, badges, etc.
Ah you're going for the black kidney grills look?
PD may perform better in the right hands but yeah, pretty much every PD job I have seen has been awful. Have you not considered wrapping with vinyl?
He's a hero (the guy who built it that is). I love watching how angry people get about cars like that.Lols..

I just love how raw it looks, the wheels are interesting.
That reminds me of this.
Now that is a work of art.
I love this too much. Its a legit drift car too.

Got the black grill in, just bought one from eBay rather than trying to paint it.
Looks nice! is that a 330?
Cheers325. Wouldn't mind the 335 next though.
Yeah me too. It'd be quite the step up from a 318..
Oh yeah. 318 to 325 is quite substantial.
