Can't get pass BIOS

So, I just got my new computer, but it wont let me past the ASUS UEFI bios.

I've had previous warning messages but I got that fixed, now it doesn't show anything, but I'm getting some flashing "_" up in left corner and then it goes to bios, and I can move around freely in there, but can't do anything other than that. Please help!

I'm not sure if this was the correct place to place my thread, but here it is

What are you specifications and if your hdds have nothing on them then it won't boot.
Also check your boot order if you're trying to install windows.

4790k
asus 780
asus maximus vii
8gb ram
ssd (with windows on it)
hdd (empty)
h105
650w

and my SSD is in the #1 priority to boot.

I think that even tho it has nothing on them, I would still get past the BIOs.

I'm just getting directly into the BIOS without clicking anything.

Take it from me with the Asus UEFI if your hard drives have nothing on them, it will stay in UEFI until there is a OS to boot to.

I just tried to put my SSD and ASUS DRW in, with windows of course. SSD is 100% clean and the DRW has windows in it. Still it goes into the UEFI BIOS.

Is the drive showing up as UEFI or Legacy in the "Bios" UEFI will ignore some drives if Legacy is not set up. Only one of my drives shows when I do a fresh install.

Aight... So I got it working.. And I have no idea how, haha.
I think it was because I pre-downloaded my Windows 7 on my new SSD on a Gigabyte motherboard. And then it makes the asus weird thingy.. Lesson learned. Always keep on fresh, haha.

i had that same problem on a msi board (black screen with "_" flashing top left) and turns out it was error 99 or something that was not defined.
i had to send it back. and thats when i got my intel board.

was the 1st time i tried a msi board again since the 90's when i decided i did not like them.
unfortunatly that doa board issue meant i also do not like msi boards now. which is a shame.
gigabyte who i also decided i did not like in the 90's i tried again recently and they are much better so i would use them again.

glad you did get the issue fixed.
it does make me wonder if you need a bios flash to properly fix it though.

I've never owned a uefi based motherboard, as of yet but holy crap that sounds annoying.
I'm glad you've fixed your problem.
;)
