Cannot get beyond splash screen

I've just flashed my sniper 2 with the uefi u1c BIOS to accommodate an ivy bridge chip and the PC boots with a normal single beep but no matter what I press I cannot get beyond the splash screen.
I've unplugged all USB devices except the keyboard. Tried changing the USB ports for keyboard. Nothing. The led meter along the CPU is completely lit up so don't know what that means. Can't be the graphics cards or men as no error beeps and I see a signal via dp. I.e the splash screen.
Any ideas anyone?
Could it be mobo is not recognising my 2500k and that the BIOS u1c is a beta BIOS primarily meant for ivy bridge?
If it was a CPU failure I take it I wouldn't get a splash screen?

I've since changed the ram no luck. Will try changing video card later

OK. I get a cursor blinking at the top left hand corner of the screen if keep pressing del. Some sign of life?

I forgot to mention it was a modded BIOS to ensure trim got enabled for a raid 0 ssd set up. I guess if its essentially bad code and both BIOSes it seems are flashed as I tried alt f10 and no back up BIOS is booting. Looks like I've bricked it! Mind u I had the mobo for 3.5 yrs so not totally gutted. Z97 and a 4790k here I come. There's cash back offers from Intel too!

UPDATE

Managed to boot into bios by changing graphics card, using a gtx 560ti. It appears its a dated bios possibly not detected uefi roms?
Anyway going to roll back bios - lesson learned!

Just a tip even tho you have been on the forum for a while now.

Don't double triple post if the mods see it just might get mad.

Just combine post 2-4 into one post :)

Unless your on mobile
