Can you mix different tubes?

I currently have tygon tubes in my system, however Ive seen good things written about clearflex and it's also cheaper.

2 questions:

1. So can I mix tygon and clear flex in my system

2. can I mix tubes with different ID and OD or will there be some serious problems for me?

cooling is in sig, I also have a 360 aquacomputer radiator.

shouldnt hurt to much but its always better to stay with the same size type isnt much of a factor but for visual appeal same type is better

So I'm considering using clearflex tubing with 12mm ID and 16mm OD.

the fitting description says up to 11mm no clamps required, from 13mm need clamps.

I have 13mm (1/2") barbed fitting. 13mm (1/2") barbed fitting

I currently only use R3603 tubing 15,9/11,1mm (7/16"ID) R3603 tubing 15,9/11,1mm (7/16"ID)

My understanding is that I can only use 11-13mm tubes on the fitting also infact 11mm is hard as h*ll to press into it, however 12mm might be too loose with just cable ties?

Remember from 13mm it need hose clamps.
