They better be, because they will cost alot more here in norway compared to the 2600k.

Well after checking the prize its a bit above what the 2500k cost right now, but EU prizes are always alot lower then what we have to pay here in our country. Fuck....

Well thats pocketchange for the most of us. It all depends on how well it does compared to other cpu's. A lot of cores doesnt mean better performance necessarily :-D

It does what I would be doing with it. I think it might do well at Folding@Home

Never tried F@H but i know it can use both gpu's and cpu for it. It might be the real deal for some but not for others. If i get impressed i might put it in my lan rin..

I only speak for myself as i want something that reach the top in performance. Gone form Intel Q6600 to AMD 965BE-1090T

Last one ive been very pleased with.

Yes, i would think there would be almost equal prizes for Scandinavia.

It does what I would be doing with it. I think it might do well at Folding@Home

for F@H it doesn't only matter how many cores you have. for example a 1055T has 6 cores, but it won't fold as well as my 4 core 2500K.

That's mainly because of the architecture that the phenom chips used. Based on what I have read about the Bulldozer architecture I am about 100% sure the 8 cores will fold better than any 4 core non HT CPU.
