[Build Log] Nyssa

Currently I'm taking my very first steps in the overclocking world in an attempt to see what my 5930k is capable of.
What I do is the following: Set the multiplier, set a core voltage and see if she boots. If I boot into windows I run Aida64 stresstest to see if the oc doesn't crash. I run it for 5mins just for now, I'm not looking for a 24/7 clock but rather a 'what's her max'
If the test passes I either lower the voltage a bit and test it again or raise the clock by 100MHz.

Right now I'm looking to get 4.7GHz stable. I boot into the OS at 1.402V but fail the stresstest after 30secs.
I'm not sure as to where on the chart my cpu is with these numbers. Not golden but maybe.. Average?

Oh my oh my! My PexonPcs cables have arrived today :D
Huge improvement in the looks department, very happy with the cables.

Here are a few (potatoe)pics of the cables, will get some decent ones up in my OP in a few days :)

Here are the very last pictures to be added in this thread. I have installed her in the room where I stay during the week, transit and refill went without any problems :) Now I just have to wait for the microbubbles to get out of my res again...

And this is how I've set things up

Every time when I look at the case during a game, I still find it hard to believe that I am actually gaming on it let alone having created this beauty myself. It was an epic journey on which I've learned many, many things. I'm glad I took the plunge, there are no regrets here :)
Also shout-out to you guys for the many tips you all gave me before, during and after the building process!

The build looks nice, IMO i don't really like the 2 colour LED strips tho, But in the long run it doesn't matter what i think as long as your happy.

But i do like what you did inside of the Corsair 900D so much tidier i have similar idea for my 750D.

Nice build for sure! My favourite features are the bends in the hard lines and the power cables to the graphic cards. That motherboard is certainly dwarfed in that case.

Thanks a lot guys :D
Performance wise it's a real killer, 140-150fps in bf4 1440p everything maxed out is epic xd

Installed witcher 3 too and played for one hour, that game is gorgeous!

Damn dude! Love the numbers you've got! :D ... Wondering how my new 980Ti will do in 1440p, in comparison to your twin Titan X setup. Not maxed out though :)

Guess I'll post my question in here instead of making a new thread:

So Nyssa's been running so damn well. After a long gaming session the water temps are always around 44 degrees witht he fans at only 600-650rpm ^_^

However, I have noticed a slight drop in my res' water level of around 1mm/week. There aren't any leaks anywhere nor are there any cracks in the acrylic tubing.
I'm guessing this is simply caused by evaporation escaping from around the fittings?

Cheers!
