Maybe I should make the CPU block Blue, the GPU Red, the Res Green, and have white for the rest of the case. :o

LOL! What the hell, ya got them, play! :)

I imagine you are using 3 mm LEDs. The RGB are 5 mm with 1 cathode and 3 anodes. :( A possible 7 colors. R (red), B (blue), G (green), RG (yellow), RB (purple), BG (lighter blue), RGB (white). An 8 position dip switch could be used if you wanted to just flip one switch or do a 4 position dip and flip R, G, B or any combo.

Just putting that out there if anybody wonders what you could do with RBG single LEDs for simpler spot lighting, not whole case. Intensity could come into play too...that makes my head hurt thinking of the possibilities.

almost dont have to... a $40 box controller (comes with wireless remote)
either wire up pre-fab strips or make own lighting harness (4-wires) and
voila.. some controllers do 4-color, 16-color, 64-color, 256-color.
seems pretty simple.. connect four-wires from LED to controller and control
a new color or pattern.. @ $2 per LED and some 4-wire fan wire, you got the
makings of DIY RGB LED..

Shows how long I've been out of the loop. :) I see a Phobya would work great for it. I see some of these water blocks require a 3 mm standard package LED to insert in their 3 mm hole drilled for LED lighting. I found you can get 4 conductor 3 mm RGB LEDs now days. Again, shows I've been out of the loop too long, used to be they were at smallest 5 mm due to the 3 anodes and 1 cathode.

I like that captured reset switch.

Sometimes I see cases with the power and reset too close or close to other switches, like an LED light switch and at times the power and reset looking about the same. Makes me wonder what the case designer was smoking or how much he'd had to drink. :downit:

I agree 100%, it is just rediculous to have the reset switch right next to the power switch. My favorate design are the invisible reset switches that need a pen to reset like the reset switch on the Fractal Define R2.

Here I have been loving on your case being jelly of it and Tom ends up using a C70 for my system he is sending me! I really am over the top about that!

That is great, you will really like this case. Let me know if you would like a clear window, I am making up a bunch of C70 windows and I may have some extras.
 
Well it has been a little while since I have posted an update,

I has looking for ways to change the color of the front panel LED's and came up with a simple and very cheap way to change the color.

First off I will explain, the HDD led is just a 3mm LED and would be easy to change with another LED. However, the power LED would be a little harder. The power LED is a micro mini LED that is incorporated into the power button. I was able to find micro mini LED's at a local shop but they only carried green.

Because of the difficulty of changing the power LED I needed to find a different way to get the front panel LED's to match with the rest of the build.

I ended up going with Blue.



But I did try other colors.
Yellow

Red

Green
