if you found a fiver on the floor would you pick it up or leave it?

I'd demand to hand it to the person who's face is on it. Want to make sure it gets back to its owner safely :p

:D Nice answer!!

I think whoever leaked the URL's first will be the main target for the MS legal beagles. Those who have signed up will just end up getting their accounts and keys revoked.

LOL, and btw I never meant taking it I mean who's fault is it if it gets taken. And with the money, you pick it up, take it to the Police, they will look for the owner.

Newspaper:

Lost £50 note, it's kind of red, if it's yours come collect at local Police station. Thank you

Then if nobody snaps it up, you get to keep it.

Oh and btw, just so you all know - if MS void the keys then I'm going to have to ban everyone in this thread (including myself) for the discussion of warez

But seriously, if it does happen I'd appreciate anybody who's shared keys via PM to delete all offending messages from their PM boxes. I'd rather not put us in the line of fire for facilitating the sharing of keys.

How many of you would renew if they let us keep the accounts?

I would actually. My dad has a sub to something similar.

Bloody Virgin have capped my bandwidth, just downloaded 8gb in about an hour :p

I feel for you man, I have used 3Gb today and I'm now down to 2Mb, wish I stuck with 20Mb at my parents :D.

If you have more than one PC and/or like the idea of playing around with the OS's and apps, then Technet is extremely good value. A years subs for a new user is £243 for the download only version, then the renewals are £167. Considering you get access to the complete catalogue of MS software it really is a bargain.

Agreed, and I always purchase my software legally also :wavey:, might have a dig around this. Just I don't know if I would use it all the time. But then again 3-4 downloads and I have my money back :D.

Aye I used to have a sub to Technet, fantastic value imo

Probably the reason I don't feel too guilty :p

EDIT: That and the fact I have a lefit copy of Vista Ultimate retail, bought at release ;)

I wouldn't worry too much about capping, The downloads that I've still got running on one of the OC3D servers hooked up to IDNet's backbone are only coming down at 40kb/s now :( Normal downloads form MS are at around 30mb/s
