Bottom Mounted PSU with fan facing down when case is in carpet.

Actually my psu is mounted with fan facing down. Case is on carpet. Its ok or its any risk to damage PSU because it is on carpet?

The PSU mounts on the bottom. Psu is mounted with fan facing down ( to carpet ).

System is on carpet.Case is Cooler Master Centurion 590. What now? I am confused. Its my picture of case.. HELP! Carpet is clean and tiny like in screen. Should i remove carpet or not?

Because of dust. Or you can just sit your case on a bit of wood

Yes turn the PSU over or do as Tom said and lift the machine off the floor with some wood or similar under the feet

Dont put the fan facing down on a carpet unless you want a vacuum cleaner.

Should be fine. I assume there is enough space for the PSU to breathe down there?

That case is raised up a fair bit, but its still a vacuum cleaner. So yeah, that's a bad thing.

Even though the 750D is filtered on the base, it will still suck in micro particles from the carpet and eventually coat the PSU internals with dust, it'll just take longer.

Also, Linus killed a psu when he had his pc on a fluffy carpet as it couldn't suck enough air in.

If the PC is raised off the floor it is better, because the PSU can draw in air from the bottom (which is cooler than the air in the case). If you do the same on carpet it sucks in dust which many people don't think about.
