Bodybuilding/Powerlifting

120kg squat today, two half arsed reps and one ass to grass.

Keep this thread going guys, personally I use this thread as motivation to keep pushing harder and having something to share with you guys :)

I seem to have hit a wall

squat is at 70kgs
bench at 65kgs
dead at 70 kgs

Not pushing on from this.. think its just mindset.. will give it another go next week.

I found out that a pre-workout helps a lot when hitting plateau's, it makes you feel hyper so you would always want to hit higher weights, atleast it worked for me. I did about a month taking one and my maxes skyrocketed. having the mentality of feeling like zeus also helps :P

Eat more, eat shit loads of food, and you'll get past it

i personally don't recommend pre-workouts, when you plateau, eat more, simple, heard horrible things about pre-workouts, and couple of my old training buddies have some horror stories of there own experience, so i tend to keep away

Training back today after work, didn't do anything yesterday from being super sore everywhere from chest/tris on Monday and Bi's alone on Tuesday.

Soreness is good, keep it up. :p

I was struggling to walk at the beginning of the week again, thanks to my leg workout on Saturday.

My attitude to all training ^_^

Hehe. :D

Edit: Just a question, not sure if anybody here would have had it before but anybody seen a chripracor before? I keep debating with myself to see one, but it's kind of like "Ugh okay, pay some random person to bend me into all positions and cause me pain" but I'm so bored of having aches and pains, just typing my upper back near my shoulder blade is aching, my neck needs to click. I get lower back pain, my deltoid muscle is weak from a pull like three years ago, etc. I wonder if it would be worth it.

Just made me think of it after seeing this: Don't fancy this myself though!

I'd trust this guy, but I'm worried some would just be like me saying "Yeah I'll click your back".

Perks of being a fitness instructor. ;)

Stumbling along like an old man? Walking sticks are needed after leg day! :p
I should probably invest in a wheelchair for the couple of days after I hit the legs. Jesus even walking has been agony the last few weeks.

I always have a feeling of great relief after I'm done with my heavy set of squats (to parallel). The rest of the my leg workout, I don't mind at all.

Am I the only one that quite enjoy leg day and the pain associated with it? I quite love the feeling of sore muscles, also helps me work harder in the gym to get that feeling :)

ps. no, I am not a masochist :P

I love the ache from any workout, but legs is like when you sit on your foot and loose the blood and when you get back up it kind of makes you laugh. But it's nasty at the same time.

So whilst I'm waiting for BF4 to be available to play I'm researching the snatch, never done the exercise in my life but looks...interesting. Anybody tried it? I can see it's going to be a killer.

today is the first day of skipping chest day in 18 months, I feel like shit, this morning I weighed myslef and I weighed at 71, which is really odd as two weeks ago I was at a constant 73 and 2 kg are a alot for 2 weeks of always being with a calorie surplus (although I am suppose to be cutting lol). I will do chest tomorrow and postpone abs for wednesday. I will skip legs this week as they have been working like hell and deserve a break ( saturday I was feeling sick with all the soreness haha)
