maniac's minor update:

pbs these two weeks

110kg deadlift - same as last update
110kg squat - +5 kgs
81kg bench - + 6 kgs

as with definition I'm slowly getting where I wanna be, still a long way to go but closer nonetheless. Finally seeing some striations in the chest while doing bicep curls, abs seem to be doing whatever they want, sometimes I wake up looking like gregg plitt and others I wake up like a fat slob but I'm guessing it's the random nutella/chocolate treats I have kickstarting water retention so I'm not worried about that.

As for weight I'm holding steady at 71/72kg, I believe I gained about 1/2 a kilo this past month while definitely getting leaner so its a win/win situation :)

maniac out.

So im back at the gym, back on the diet and man i wont lie i feel like a pussy :(!

but im training so much harder than i was before, i still hurt from chest day (monday) but i think thats more my body getting used to the training again

as of today my lifts

Bench - 42.5KG
Deadlift - 80KG
Squat - 75KG

this is only my second week back into training, at a new gym on a new revised plan, and ive got to say my bench has been effected the most from not training for the last few weeks, but hopefully couple more weeks i can break 75KG bench

Maniac: I've always considered push/pull always got good results for me, so:
chest,triceps,shoulders
back,biceps,forearms
legs,abs

I don't do it anymore as I'm old and broken but this was about 5yrs ago (bear in mind that I'm a desk sitting programmer)

Nice pic migbbs, are you German...you look it. You can also train for example chest and back at the same time to get a big pump but its really exhausting if your running in beast mode, it's two large muscle groups that can lift heavy. If your still lifting low weights don't try it until your much stronger. Only train like that say once a month also.

If this is your sole reason for working out, you'd probably be better off you learned to start banging prostitutes. Significantly easier, and cheaper in the long run too. :p

ive banged a 'escort' as they prefer to be called.....meh overrated!

but Emma Watson isnt the sole reason for working out, the Sexy Ladies thread is

Hi guys.

Just wondering if anyone can help me with some follow up advice, im going back to uni September the 23rd and will be needing advice on meals and a workout plan.

I'm 5'9, 130lbs and have around 18-19% body fat (rough guess) as i don't have the equipment.

Food isn't really an issue at the moment but will become one when i actually start, i have the mentality to eat anything no matter how boring and gag worthy it is. I can eat brown rice, sweet potatoes, tuna and fruits endlessly

I want to gain muscle and also lose fat to get ripped, I don't want a pro body builders figure, I wanting something in the lines of athlete or fitness model.

I wont be able to get to a gym within the first 2 months of uni because the one on campus wont be done by then and the nearest one is 3 miles away. I do own an 100Kg Olympic Weight Set and a basic bench that can incline.

Can someone offer to help me with a simple/cheap meal plan for everyday of the week preferably 6 meals that can fit in Tupperware.

And also a workout plan that can be done with home equipment, I'm comfortable with dead lifting 45Kg at the moment and have been doing compound workouts to build strength, but i need a routine!!

I'm an ectomorph but i do have the discipline to work hard, any advice would be amazing!

I think you should check out Fortress http://www.youtube.com/user/TheF0rtress?feature=g-high-crv I've been following his regimes for the last 4 years and remain ripped and healthy and lift 0 weights. He also does diet videos with minimal of effort needed per meal.

My recent bench press video. two reps at 285lbs. My nephew who is over 20 yrs younger than me benches 305+ and he only began lifting weights in Feb of this year. I need to catch up to him but he is much larger build than me. His biceps/arms are about 17 1/4" while mine are 16 1/4"

Nice lift there ygohome!

Haha, lifting weights is a personal hobby, who doesn't like to look good for themselves, plus it may help with the ladies (depending on what they're into). Plus you get health benefits...can't ask for much more really.

I'm a 48yr old Englishman from London as it 'appens matey. Working out was a means to alleviate the frustrations of writing code all day.
Don't do it anymore. I've stopped taking Promax and go with KFC instead these days.

Hahaha, you should keep it up, was looking good in the pic.

I've just received my order from www.tsst.co.uk

MuscleMeds Beef Carnivor 1816g Fruit Punch
MuscleMeds Creatine Decanate
MuscleMeds Beef Aminos Decanate
MuscleMeds Glutamine

Was quite expensive but I guess thats how supplements go!

I need to mix up my routine again, I'm just not getting that feeling of DOMs anymore.

ive banged a 'escort' as they prefer to be called.....meh overrated!
I've often thought about that, but never quite bit the bullet and rang one of them up.

Although I did get far more action since I got my bodyfat down and actually put on some muscle, so I can't knock it as a reason to be working out, even if it's not one of my own. (I happen to think the whole FWB gag is overrated :p )

I'm supposed to be going to SandysSuperstars this week, (don't go on the site if you find it offensive, although how boobs are offensive I don't know). The girls on there are frickin gorgeous!

Update: Squatting 160kg for 5's now. Bwt is a bit lower around the 110-112kg mark so about 3-5kg lighter than last time I posted. Deadlifts are hovering around the 170kg-180kg 5x5-3x3 mark. I just got a belt which helps so I'll see how I go.

Squat 5x5 70kg
1x5 75kg

Leg press 90kgs 3x8

seated calf raise 40kg 5x8

legs were a twitching like mad. Will be fun for the next few days.
