This card was flashed incorrectly before i dont know the full history but from what i know thats what happened. Ive rulled out all other components and have tested other gpus with my system and ive tested the gpu on other systems all same results.

Ok so the 6950 does not display anything on the monitor and for some odd reason fans ramp up to max speed or atleast thats what it sounds like. This is a dual bios card but both are in the same state.

Ive placed a second card in the system to run my display so i can try and flash my 6950.

So i post into my bootable usb flashdrive with atiflash.

Atiflash -i

Atiflash -unlockrom 0

Atiflash -f -p 0 6950.bin

ERROR 0FL01

When im in windows using my other gpu the computer does not recognise any card in that slot even though its powered up. If anyone has a resolution id be very thankful thanks.

first off dont flash or unlock -0 unless your card is in the top slot -0 first card -1 second card.when flashing with 2 cards in its advisable to have one ur flashing in second slot. but sounds like its bricked now..... what mobo are we on?? does it have dip switches that turn off pci-e lanes??? if so is it flipped off??

please give specs of your rig it helps us help you.

Ok so the current system im trying to do this on is just a basic one, im not sure if the mobo has a dip switch though,

ASRock a55m-hvs

8gb patriot gamer ram

athlon II x4 631 cpu

the lanes available in order from top to bottom

Pcie x 1 slot

pcie x 16 slot

Pci slot

the second gpu is a nvidia quadro which is a pcie x1 gpu.

I have another pc available but its not in this one but if you think i might have better chances these are the specs

phenom 1100T

Crossfire 6970

Gigabyte 990fxa-ud3

yeah bro its a pci-e card will not work in a pci slot that's for legacy cards. Use your other rig for flashing take out the second card of ur xfire 6970's boot to ur bootable flash drive with atiflash on it.

ATIFLASH -UNLOCKROM 1

it will say OK

ATIFLASH -F -P 1 BIOS.BIN (or whatever you named the bios)

now it will proceed to flash

Im not putting the pcie slot in a pci slot... ?

Nvidia quadro is a Pcie x1 card and its in the pcie x1 slot

the 6950 is a pcie x16 card and its in the pcie x16 slot

there is nothing in the pci slot,

i dont see a difference in trying it in the other pc for this reason? would be the same.

yeah I thought I misread that sorry well since its not working in the current pc is another reason to try the other. but thats up to you I'd try everything to fix it if it were mine.

Your card contains two bios's.

When your switch is furthest to the left you are in a read only bios that cannot be modified in anyway not matter what force flash you use (therefore if your card does not boot with this bios then your card is dead)

When your switch is furthest to the right you can flash whatever you like to your hearts content knowing that if you F-Upp then you can always switch back to the stock bios.....

I have this exact card.........

Sapphire are pretty good about RMA so get it to them ASAP....

Pretty sure that Sapphire tweaked the use of the bios switch, position one being the 'normal' 6950 bios, the second being the unlocked 6970 one...
