BF2142 Issue

Hi guys

Tonight I've noticed that on BF2142 if I use the gunship my game locks up in such a way the only way out is to hit the reset button. Now I gamed for about a hour before using the gunship and wham instant crash, other times I may get 2-3minutes into the game before it crashes.

Anyone else had this and fixed it without having to go through all the crap to reinstall

Never had such a problem but before you reinstall two possible fixes i can think of

check your graphics settings ingame

Delete BF2142 cache C:\My Documents\BF2142\? Can't remember exact as i've not reinstalled it yet

If You want a stable server to test it on Ours is 85.236.101.48:17067

Tue, Thur,Fri & Sun = BF2142

Mon, Wed, Sat = BF2

Ended up a total reinstall did it, took bloody ages though

GERRRRR I Know that feelin. i've been there many times wif BF2

For future referance the folder is

C:\My Documents\Battlefield 2142\mods\bf2142\cache\{D7B71E3E-42D3-11CF-035C-AC2403C2CB35}_21_2

Foldername may vary.
