Bethesda will be releasing a game "this year" that they have not announced yet!

Probably some new IP, keeping it underwraps so we cannot trash its outdated (if at all) Gfx or make any kind of criticism that could ruin their potential sales.

Let's face it, they haven't been doing that great since Skyrim really. FO4 while adventurous had atrocious detail. ES online has not been doing that well either.

Umm, wat? Fallout 4 was a bigger seller than Skyrim. It's their most successful title to date.

Yes but also panned by most people. Just because it sold well, I don't really call it success if the majority of the player base complained. If they only consider revenue as a success, they might as well call themselves EA. If you understand where i am going with this.

In my eyes Sales =! success. It's all about the experience and satisfaction as well. Fulfill those, and future ip/franchises will reap the rewards.

I still disagree. Yeah FO4 was buggy, so was Skyrim. The player base whined and complained, and STILL spent god knows how many hours playing. Agreed that sales does not equal success, but FO4 is HUGELY successful on just about every level. Besides, with people today being whining little self-centered idiots, people will complain about ANY game. If Bethesda even dropped a *hint* about a possible FO5, the planet would lose it's mind and that's all you'd be hearing about. That's the hallmark of an incredibly successful franchise, bugs be damned. I defy ANY developer to put out a game with the size and scope of FO4 or Skyrim and NOT have a game filled with bugs. AFAIK, no other developer has even come close.

Goddamn I feel argumentative today. I need to get off the internets!!

I just hope its another game like skyrim or FO4 that i want to sink hundreds of hours into in and no more of that elder scrolls online nonsense.

As a total Fallout freak I can say that FO4 is good, but that's where it ends. I dunno, it just doesn't have the detail Fallout 3 had. For example right, during my 2-3 hour searches of large buildings in FO3 I would find a holotape. I would then listen to it, brain stores some of it. Then I am in another building scouting around and scavving and I find this bird called Sydney. It turns out the dead body I looted in the hotel was her father's. "Moonbeam" is her nickname and now she wants to help me out because I found that out.

It's things like that Fallout 4 is missing. You go into a building and it's all too linear. A hospital for example, is tiny and all closed off so you can only really go one of about two ways.

Yeah, it's just lacking the soul. The building is stupid and so is the crafting, there are no proper custom weapons like Fallout 3 had that you made from blueprints and etc.

IMO Bethesda went too far trying to make it like Minecraft and forgot all of the tiny subtle nuances that made Fallout 3 so great.

That said it's not a bad old romp, and I am 14 hours in now as a female.
