Best memory brand!?

For me it would be Corsair and Mushkin, both make great memory. However Corsair have the edge in my opinion as their after care is amazing.

I've used corsair vengeance DDR3 and it won't overclock at all, I've used Kingston Value DDR2 and it's died in 6 months, I've used Kingston Hyper X DDR2 rated at 800 running at 1066 and it's as solid as a rock. As with nearly all things, you get what you pay for, but I'm a fan of the Hyper X range on both Ram and SSD.

In order of most used to least:

1.Mushkin

2.G.Skill

3.Kingston

4.Corsair

Since Corsair is usually the most expensive, the few times I've been shopping for memory, I usually couldn't afford the ones I wanted.

However, Corsair is going in my 2011 rig that I'm currently gathering parts for.

Meh, it's all the same, just with with different heatsinks, I just go with the RAM I like the look of best or goes with my color scheme. Stay away from the value RAM though as it's made using cheap parts or binned RAM that didn't make the grade.

Yup, I agree with SieB. I'm replacing my Corsair RAM with some Mushkin Blackline as they look better imo and I need shorter RAM for when I replace my CM Hyper 212+ with the NH-D14 I bought from SieB.

i have corsair dominatorGT2100 and mushkin redline ridgebacks in both my rigs (seperately) - although kingston used to be my first choice

i changed to the above for better latencies

if you want large sets 16GB+ go with corsair

if you want 12GB or less go with mushkin

I have been using Mushkin for about 8 months now and really like brand. Mushkin Memory looks awesome and performs great.

I recommend brand is kingston.

Kingston Technology, the US-based, global No. 1 independent memory module manufacturer, has been currently ranked as the global No. 1 memory module brand with over 50% market shares by third party research firms.

I'd have to agree with the majority on Corsair and Mushkin, just glad we can get Mushkin in the UK from Aria, i've never had G.Skill, it looks a bit tacky in my opinion.

I originally bought OCZ for my current system but it had a faulty dimm, which took my motherboard with it so I doubt i'll buy OCZ again.
