Best memory brand!?

I've never used anything other than the Corsair RAM. Generally expensive when you want Dominator kits, it becomes more accessible with the kits Vengeance Series.

I can not comment on other brands, I never had.

But I must admit that the praise of Tom about Mushkin RAM begins to exercise supernatural power of my brain and I think try Mushkin RAM soon.

1. corsair

2. kingston

3. nothing....

:-)

but basically it will depend on who's making the modules. there aren't many manufacturers left

Corsair, G.Skill, Geil, Mushkin, Kingston. All great brands so its just down to what you like the look of and fits your budget realy.

With the 4 Companies you listed I would say a tie between Corsair and Mushkin and actually Mushkin might be a tad better. But then no doubt I would go with Kingston and then G.skill.

I have never used G.skill so I cant say anything about it. I currently use Mushkin and love it.

I would never buy another Corsair ram kit, nothing but issues with mine, plus they don't like being overclocked. I may go Mushkin with my new build if they release kits with black PCB's that is.

I have used Gskill in i think, 5 builds now. Its proven to be extremely stable and overclockable. Admittedly i have only purchased there 1333 and 1600 varieties, but it has been worth every penny so far. I think if i was going to use over 2000 mHz i would go for mushkin or corsair though. But then again i have no reason to stray from G-skill, and i will keep buying them until they let me down on price or performance.

Corsair have an outstanding customer service imo.

Would love any manufacturer, or sticker, memory people to re-issue 9-9-9-24 1866/2133 memory tho.

My 1[sup]st[/sup] choice Kingston n 2[sup]nd[/sup] choice Corsair n 3[sup]rd[/sup] choice ......... sorry no 3[sup]rd[/sup] choice

You can also look into bargain companies like GSkill or Patriy. They manufacture stickers... Look at various reviews on newegg about Corsair ram, and see how many received unmached modules inot, but I wouldn't. Not when you know what happent to OCZ.

G.Skill may print stickers but their stickers tend to have much better timing numbers than Kingston stickers.

Also, any comparison to OCZ is unfair. OCZ were statistically absolute dreck in terms of reliability.

i can only say corsair hands down !

not meaning other brands are bad just that i can suggest this brand without question
