Whats the best Bang for Buck Digital TV USB Stick (that can record Digital TV (areal type) for a Small system with a Intel single core atom.

Its to me used in windows 7 with 2 gb ram and Media Centre. Needs to be easy to use as well.

they are all crap fella,i have had a few and ither i had menu issues or channel scrambling or just over all no reception,i take it you are using a outside arial?

Yeh we have out side areal. we get a 90 to 95% on all channels as its boosted as well. Big massive areal lol.

then you may be ok fella, but you get what you pay for IMO if it doesnt work you can always take/send it back ither way

just warning you tho

Be careful purchasing a USB tuner for such an underpowered system.

Most USB TV Tuners don't have an internal MPEG-2 encoder but use software encoding instead. This uses your CPU which takes a LOT of power, something the single core Atom doesn't offer.

The only USB tuner I know of with a dedicated MPEG-2 encoder is the Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1950. It has fairly decent reviews by the looks of things.

I know most mini Atom systems don't have PCIe slots, but if yours does, I would strongly suggest you get an internal card instead.
