I'm looking to swap out the two factory 120mm fans that come with the Corsair H100 with really high quality fans and preferably with LED lights behind them. (My colour scheme for my rig will be blue).

there is no best fan..

bitfenix has a spectre pro that'd be good for the H100, but you will see a temperature increase
thats about it for LED.. the static pressure and cfm on the LEDs aren't as well to do for radiators.
maybe someone else might have a suggestion. maybe silverstone..
i remember Tom used phoyba, but dont remember if in blue or not.

so i shouldn't use LEDs for the water unit? i still want to put two extra ones on the other side of the radiator for extra air draw

yeah bitfenix spectre pro's are good alrounders (cfm, satic presure dba ect..) and have nice LED's and no one makes blue fans for radiators (that i know of) and there is no such thing as the best fan they all have their up and down sides

its not that you shouldnt, it is that there aren't alot of choices in LED for proper radiator fans.
you asked about the "best 120mm fans" with really high quaility on a H100. you maybe have 8
real choices. any fan can be used, but they wont perform as well as the fans you have now.
they will make it run hotter and they will not function correctly if you plug them into the H100
controller. they will run 100% no fan control.
so you get to make a choice for a fan controller or run them off the molex from the PSU.
there is a third option as to run them from the motherboard fan header (which i do not do)
most H100 owners tend to lean towards the corsair SP120 (not LED) for a replacement fan
over the stock H100 fans.

no he means that becuase the h100 stock fans spin so fast which makes the cooling better(this also means they're quite loud) that in comparison the bitfenix fans which are quieter don't give as much cooling power and lEDs don't affect the performance it's the type of fan that does

so will i get better performance if i put two other fans on the other side of the h100 for extra air drawing or will it not make much of a difference?

you could consider using any fan then just putting some blue bitfenix blue LEDs one the side of the fans it wont give the same effect but you'll have free choice of your fan

push pull/pull push doesn't make that much difference between one set of fan (about 1-2 degrees C) but still a difference

well the corsair SP120 has a nice blue trim on them so i guess i don't need LEDs on the fan if it's not going to give me 100% performance. i'll just install some cold cathodes

CCT lighting is so 1990's.. move into the LED light strips, cooler, no bulky converter box,
and easier to mount..
the SP120 is a wise choice.. now the SP120 again will not function like the H100 fans in controlling
the speed. that is only for the stock H100 fans for now.

ye i don't mind about not controlling them. i'd probably run them at max all the time anyway

then the corsair SP120 performance edition fans it is..
congrats, i like them and you will to on the H100.
