I ************* bent 2 pins when I took out my 2700K, I didnt touch it at all after seeing it and just put my 3770K in to see if it worked.

It's running and stable at 4.6ghz with 1.26v, should I take this as PHEW? Or could something happen? :S

Asus Maximum V Extreme, imma do something bad if I -snip- my my board lol

they are bent all the way down, I dont dare to touch it... cause I know ill break more pins trying to :(

I had an old AMD cpu that had it's pins bent - 1 even completely came off if I remember correctly. That worked fine for around a year after until one day it died. May be completely unrelated - but you never know.
It was never overclocked, so I dont see why it would just die

A lot of the pins are just ground pins or not used at all, so it's not surprising if you bend one and it still works. You bent two though, so that's some pretty good luck :)

so the bottom line here is, to be 100% safe, buy a new mobo? I love this board so id be prepared to buy it again

I'm selling it on a danish hardware forum, ofcourse notifying people about bent pins and that the warrenty and such is invalid now
