well seeing as my mount came and is only half here i guess i am going to be saving 1 last goodbye to air benching late tonight early in the morning.

lets see if i can break back into the uk's top 5 air only clockers before i leave it

Thought I would pop in to see how things are going.

Been a few months (and will continue that way until the end of May) since I benched or even looked at a computer forum as Im currently writing my Thesis.

Wanted to go to the LN2 event this weekend but this work I have is too important to give up a weekend for sadly

I'll sneak a cheeky look every so often and should be back with some points around May/June.

Until then KEEP BENCHING!.

Curse you benching!!!! I have been so good, put all my gear away, didn't touch the forum or the bot, reluctantly declined the trip to bench session......all it took was a quick glance at the forum to explain my absence and I have the bastard rig set up for dice with two chips on order....

Lol, I am out of a job right now so any hopes of benching I had this month are completely out of the window unless I can get a rampage extreme at a stupidly low price and just air bench all the random 775's I have lying about in a draw, in fact I haven't even looked to see what they are yet or if they work

I'm sure they will end up being old Pentium 4 and celerons knowing my luck.

Was in the market for a good kit of ddr3 to use for benching before I was made redundant. I noticed a lot of people are using G.Skill ripjaws for high speed and low latency I.E. 2133@CL7 or something like that. Anyone know what kit this may be or what's the best kit to get to try and get those sort of speeds. Only thing I need now to help me with my AM3 overclocking as I have got a Crosshair IV for £50

Just need to dig out the dual core phenoms I have lying around somewhere, might even ask the engineer at the school I'm at if I can borrow a few from the pc's with broken power supplies or motherboards/ram.

nah, not done the back yet but i dont have a backplate yet either as duniek let me down.

so the back is done and back plate has been made (only for 775 atm but drilling 4 more holes is only 2 min job) and i has it all bolted together in dry run to see if the cold plate touches ihs xD

i bottled it btw, i did have a nice e84 in but thought maybe using a cheap e64 was a better chip to start with

got a 1m screenshot that will put me top of the team points but then i got cocky and borked my install xD

need put the hdd in another pc to get it

yea man, team power points give the bot a whole new level too and after claiming a couple of 3d ones back last week thanks to my new cpu its even more of a reason to play with older cpu
