i cant afford a new desk so ive just gotta do with what i have i have 3 pc's but the other ones not in that photo ha ha

and yeah its just a boiler cupboard so no need to not sure the space! and to lie on your bed is great :)

EDIT: the cup and flag and churchill dog :rollingla

it cetinly is untill your matress starts to suffer from having an ass on a certain place all the time!

nope mate the boilers rarely ever on and its insulated to hell so the cupboard doesnt really get hot and my cases get air from the front :)

Beefy try and remember to ask me monday, Ive got a furnace fired enamel mouse mat that I made at my old job with a union jack printed on it....... :D

yeah im going to be moving mines more close to my windows when it gets to winter so i can fling them right open and reverse the airflow to get some sick temps for overclockin and benchin when i eventually get the 2 x gtx460's :)

Steps.. How on earth do you watch the TV? standing on your head?

my tv sits upside down its quite simple ;)

yeah it sits down there plugged into the second card in my folder but never is switched on and there is a 19" along the side of my sub for the speakers that the 9800gt is plugged into

BTW.. Has any one ever considered using a alu flexpipe (one from a washer/dryer dryer) fed directly into a 120mm intake fan and hung out the window?

I had a sit down the other night and thought about weird and whacky ways to feed the PC with cold air. Just remember if you do try that to let the hose hang down incase it rains :D hahaha

"Taped" lol BODGE ftw.

yeah it was good tho cause im pretty sure he lived in a really cold place and havin a window open would have froze him to death and he got awsome temps with it

i cant wait till its like back into the -5's here should get sick temps

:D Cowboy as we say here, or Ghetto rig as they call it in the USA :D

Sure, it wouldn't be very pretty but it could be quite effective, especially in winter.

Seriously when my brain is firing watch out.. I can be dangerous :D Recently I have been trying to come up with a way to design something like a turbo charger that will blast serious air through a cooler. The system would be sealed up as much as possible (with a 6" PVC drain pipe pretty much casing in the CPU heatsink) and then another fan after it drawing the air out.

Over time I would like to create a PC that uses modular ducted air boosting. So for example on the graphics cards they would also be in a seperate 6" PVC unit that would blast air over those.

Part of the problem in a PC is ambient heat. Sure you're bringing cold air in but it's not isolated. It gets to mix with warm air from the back of PCBs on the GPUs and so on. I would be very interested to see a machine laid out and fed with cold air that can not be affected by any other variable.

It's very similar to a turbo really. Although I certainly wouldn't blast a cooler with that kind of PSI, would likely rip it to bits :D

The idea though is cold air. On a turbo the colder the air ouput the more combustable it is.. But the philosophy would work well on a PC. Of course on a turbo you need an intercooler the keep the air cold. Otherwise ambient temps from the engine would just make it into a pressurised hairdryer.
